Quick Facts

  • Four 10-hour days with shared call — once or twice per week
  • 2 providers needed — team of 15 surgeons on staff
  • Cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery — inpatient ICU and step-down units
  • First assist in OR — endovascular vein harvesting and central line placement
  • Chest tube insertion/removal and epicardial wire discontinuation required
  • Intra-aortic balloon pump and ECLS device management required
  • Temp-to-perm opportunity available
  • Flexible schedule options — call coverage or part-time hours available
